Our staff features highly trained professionals who have danced with ballet and modern companies and on Broadway. Their backgrounds and years of teaching experience allows them to pass on to your child the accumulated knowledge of many generations of professional dancers, teachers and choreographers with whom they have worked.
Our staff’s experience and training allow us to know the best techniques to keep your child safe and avoid injury or damage that can be caused by poor or improper training. Our staff fully understands that age-appropriate lessons to taught that are safe for each level of development.
Even if you don’t want to dance professionally, top quality instruction from our staff means you’ll learn more, be safer, and develop a lifelong appreciation of fitness, the arts, and learning in general.
If your child decides they love dance so much they want to continue, they will be in the best position to do so. In fact, some of our students have been accepted into prestigious programs at ballet school and universities including: Ballet Austin, Boston Ballet, Boston Conservatory, Joffery Ballet, Chicago & NYC, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Barnard College, Adelphi University, Barnard College, University of Richmond and Fordham University.
Heath and Safety
Your child’s heath and safety is important to us. We know how and are committed to keeping your child safe. Class sizes allow for more individual attention, ensuring students develop the correct terminology, technique, and artistry. All classes at Lebanon Ballet School have a maximum of 12 people to ensure personal attention!
Our facilities are also important in preventing injury: our second floor studios have a 1,600 sq ft floating floor system with a professional non-slip floor surface.
City Center Ballet
Lebanon Ballet School is the official school of City Center Ballet. The unique connection to City Center Ballet provides performance opportunities for selected students as well as invaluable networking for advanced students. Eligible dancers may audition to perform in a repertoire of original productions and classical ballets. Dancers are invited to participate in the Master Dance Series that provides the opportunity to train with cut-edge teachers and choreographers.
