School Policies
Payments:   Monthly (2 or More Classes a Week) ~ Tuition is due on the 23rd of each month.
Semester (1 Class a Week) ~ Semester Tuition is due 7 days before the beginning of a new term. 
How to make Tuition Payments:   Tuition can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.
• All checks payable to Lebanon Ballet School.
• Automatic credit card payments available for monthly students see registration forms.
• Major Credit Cards Accepted: Visa & MasterCard.
 
Fees:  

Registration Fee: A one time fee of $20.00 will be applied at time of registration.
Late fees: will be applied 10 days after the due date.
Late Fee – 20.00  |  Returned Check Fee – 15.00  |  Automatic Credit/Debit Decline – 15.00.

Automatic Payments: If you sign up for Automatic payments and do not notify the LBS staff you/your dancer will not be returning before payments are processed a $20.00 Fee will be deducted from the refund.

Discounts:   Sibling Discount (Discount Amount – 10%) | Eligibility: Two or more siblings are enrolled in classes.
Registration Fee Discount: A single registration fee payment of $30.00 for all siblings enrolled.
 
Withdrawal/Refund:   Notice of withdrawal must be submitted to the office no later than 2 weeks prior to exit date.
Refunds – All tuition payments are final. No Refunds unless a medical reason prevents participation. 
General Studio Polices:   The Dress code is specific for each level. See Class description for your dress code.
Students are expected to behave respectfully and courteously at all times.
Everyone is to remove all footwear when entering Lebanon Ballet School.
Pre-Ballet students should not enter a classroom until the teacher is present.
Parents may observe classes through the window in the lounge. Please do not enter the studios.
Food and Drinks (except water bottles) are not allowed in the studio or dressing rooms.
Lebanon Ballet School is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Labeling belongings is recommended.
There is a lost and found bin located in the girl’s dressing room. Unclaimed items will be discarded or donated to charity at the end of each Semester. 
Attendance:   Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class.
Students should be prepared, dressed appropriately, and on time for class. 
Late Arrival:   Students may be asked to sit and observe class if they arrive 10 or more minutes late for class. 
Absence:   If a student is to miss a class for any reason a parent/guardian must call the school 603-448-5404 or email to report the absence. 
Make Up:   Every student is entitled to make up missed classes.  Classes may be made up at your level or a level below. Please contact the office for further assistance with make up classes. 
Drop Off/Pick Up Policy:   Students should arrive to Lebanon Ballet School no later than 10 minutes before their class is to begin.
Late Arrival: Students may be asked to sit and observe class if they arrive 10 or more minutes late for class.
Pick Up:   All Students need to be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the last of the evening is scheduled to end.  Please check the daily schedule. 
Late Pick Up:   The Lebanon Ballet School staff is no longer responsible for your dancer after the 15 minute pick up window has expired. 
Inclement Weather:   We reserved the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather. All cancellations will be listed on our website and on our answering machine by noon of the day in question. 603-448-5404In the event of cancellation all classes can be made up at any point through out the school year at your level or a level below. 
Studio Etiquette: In order to maintain a courteous and professional atmosphere at LBS, everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner. Unruly behavior is strictly forbidden.Parents, please be quiet and respectful of the classes while waiting in the hallway or lounge. You are responsible for siblings while your child is in class. Do not leave children unattended. Damage to LBS property will be repaired at your expense.LBS is cell phone-free zone – please talk outside of the building. Students are to turn off cell phones when arriving at LBS.Everyone is to remove all footwear when entering LBS. Only dance shoes are permitted in the studios.Facilities: There are two dressing rooms – Girls/Ladies and Boys/Men. The dressing rooms are not a lounge, after changing move to the lounge to visit or hallways to stretch. Open studios can be used before class with permission from the staff. Pre-Ballet students should not enter a classroom until the teacher is present.A bathroom is located in each dressing room. They are not to be used for changing. Please use the restroom before class so that it is not necessary to leave once class begins.

No valuables should be left or stored in the dressing rooms. LBS is not responsible for lost items. A Lost and Found basket is located in the Girls/Ladies Dressing Room. It is recommended that all clothing be labeled with the student’s name. Unclaimed items will be discarded or donated to charity at the end of each Semester.

Dress Code: The Dress code is specific for each level. See Class description for your dress code. Proper Shoes must be worn for all classes. No watches or jewelry is to be worn is class. No undergarments are to be worn under tights. For all ballet girls: hair must be worn in a securely well made bun. Shorter hair styles must be pinned off the face and neck. Failure to follow the dress code will result in dismissal from class.

Class Observation: LBS has any open door policy, children may be observed in class at anytime. Parents may observe classes through the window in the lounge into Studio 1. Please do not enter the studios without the teachers permission and most importantly when dancers are moving. Food and Drinks (except water bottles) are not allowed in the studio or dressing rooms.

Attendance: Attendance will be taken at for each class. Students should be prepared, dressed appropriately, and on time for class. If an absence cannot be avoided, please notify LBS in advance by phone or email. Excessive tardiness and/or absences may result in a student being asked to transfer to a different class. Missed classes due to illness, maybe made up in an equivalent or lower level within a month or semester. If a student must leave early, the teacher is to be informed at the beginning of the class.

Medical Insurance: LBS requires that all students be covered by their own insurance policy. If an injury occurs it is understood that the student’s own policy is their only source of reimbursement. A Release of Liability Form must be signed before a student can participate in any class.
